This is why we wear gloves

Earlier today a woman brought in 3 large bags full of clothes for us to wash by the pound. As I was sorting through the clothes I found some of her personal items at the bottom of the bags. One bag had a half used tube of Vagisil (ew) and another one had a full prescription bottle with all of her personal information on it AND a live roach. Thank goodness I had my gloves on.

They broke into what???

My attendant recently informed me that people have started breaking into our bathroom by using a credit card to undo the lock. Normally we only let our customers use the restroom while washing, which I believe is reasonable. It lowers the number of people using our supplies and more importantly keeps it cleaner. Tomorrow I have to put on a special shield to the door frame to keep people from breaking in.

New Complaint

Today we had a man come in with his family. He kept complaining to us that none of the machines washed properly. From my experience, usually when clothes aren't washed correctly it's because someone forgot to put in detergent, they put too much clothes in the machine, or the clothes were too dirty to begin with and weren't pretreated. After the gentleman left, I realized that in this case I was wrong. He simply couldn't read the button he pushed that set it for "delicates."
